Meet the founder- Queen Quaymo

Queen Quaymo started this hair care line primarily because she needed good products for herself.As she returned natural and began embracing her hair and appearance in 2014, She began trying a different variety of different hair care products. Not impressed with the results or all of the money lost investing in so many commercial brands, she began doing additional research on how to formulate her own products. During the process she learned more about african decent hair and how it is connected with our history, heritage, identity, and spirituality. Your hair is also a huge indicator for other health issues that may be going on in the body. This was a huge push for her creating her own line and sharing her knowledge and experience with others,turning her testimony into a trusted brand. For Quaymo being natural is much more than a hairstyle, its a lifestyle.

" I have been Natural for 7 years now. i did my big chop uin 2012 and my hair grew back fast. I've tried many different products and these 2 are my favs. (other product listed was Mielle Organics)i am currently on a #nodirectheatyear so I do let my hair air dry using both. i do a 2 strand twist every night which helps keeps my hair detangled and moisturized.#myhairishealthy#shrinkagenobreakage

pros: 1.They both are black owned companies (I vowed that starting in 2019 I was going to buy black and I’m sticking to it #SupportYourOwn)
2. Alcohol and sulfate free & other Natural Products (My hair does appreciate that)
3. Willing to educate the buyer about their products and how to use them if needed) Ask if you are transitioning don’t do it blindly.
4. Has a full line of products that aren’t tailored to one hair type or style.
5. Both oils are great for hair growth and thickening. (Need help with edges growth or treatment better get and use these oils). ➖➖➖The Differences Between Them➖➖➖ MIELLE does not accentuate your curl pattern, as you can see. You will have to use rods and other products (At least I have to use rods and other products). The shampoo I would consider it as a “stripper” it does get everything out of your hair (gel, edge control, other products, dirt, conditioner residue, etc.) Oil is a must your hair will be bone dry after washing even after using leave in conditioner (Heavier and thicker product but it somewhat balances out with shampoo and conditioner)
Queen Quaymo Haircare does accentuate your own nature curl pattern. (No Rods or Product Required💗🙌🏾) After washing you feel the softness setting in your hair but it still gives you this clean feeling and a little tingle and you can see the intensified curl pattern💚Leave in conditioner is lighter more airy.. I’ve used the oil as a hot oil treatment as well as regular moisturizing oil. Hot oil lasted about 5 days but I still was twisting my hail to lock the oil in and only air drying may have different results with heat
