Racism. Should we ignore it or approach it?

April 15, 2018

Every Since 2008, when Obama was elected as president, many americans seem to think that racism is a thing of the past.  I can't even tell you how many times I have had a conversation with a loyal Trump supporter with a "Make America Great again" hat on about being treated equal, poverty filled projects, or  the black lives matter movement. The conversation usually starts off like "well I dont see color! I treat everybody equal. I think everybody needs to just stop complaining! Or if you say that "Black Lives" matter they will correct you and say that "ALL LIVES MATTER", and from there the conversation usually goes down hill. For this reason, a lot of people will not stand up for themselves if they feel that someone is making ignorant comments, or being treated with prejudice because of the feat of having a confrontation or retaliation. Check out my latest podcast episode that talks about how to approach this ongoing issue, and in addition be sure to check out the music played in the end of the episode submitted by midwest artist.(links below)
